We're All Just Sexy Chupacabras
For anyone who attended our PIT show, you may recall that a certain song was played between each of our sketches. It was, in fact, a brand new, just released song called "Sexy Chupacabra" which was written and sung by the talented Briana Whyte Harris.
Through a series of happy coincidences, Briana connected with the group over Facebook a couple of weeks prior to the show. She asked if we would be interested in taking part in the production of her Sexy Chupacabra music video.
All I needed to hear was that there would be leotards involved and I was pretty much sold on the project. I think the same can be said for most of the group. It doesn't take a lot to convince us to dance around in costume. The shoot took place on Sunday and it was filmed and directed by Briana and her husband, Seth. Here are some shots from that glorious afternoon/evening:

Chupacabras Rock the House
Alright, alright, let it be known that the Chupacabras ran into a few snags with our rider. BUT the important thing to remember here is...
The show was fantastic. The Chupacabra Conspiracy (and their co-performers, Brick Penguin) made a big splash at PIT Sketchfest. Both groups performed to a packed house in the PIT underground space.
The Chupacabra Conspiracy went on first and, as final show preparations were being made backstage, the venue reached capacity and quickly turned into a standing-room-only situation. Despite a few tech snafus (and one egregious mispronunciation of "chupacabra"), the group performed the following sketches:
If you missed it, that sucks. But it only means you'll have to vigilantly keep your eyes and ears peeled for news of our next show.
