And he was also in Batman.

T. Coveney

Coveney is a teacher, improvisational comedian, karaoke enthusiast, and butcher of all things accent. Whether in front of the classroom or out front on the stage he revels in the ability to make others wonder and laugh alongside of him. "T Coveney is the consummate professional. If I could take one comedian to bone town it would most definitely be him" - Katie Escoto

Katie Escoto

Katie got her start in sketch comedy by co-founding Humor Us! Sketch Comedy at Cornell University in the fall of 2005. After graduating in 2008, she began improv classes at Chicago City Limits in 2009 and sketch-writing at UCB in 2011. Katie is currently an intern at the People's Improv Theater. She has been a writer and performer with the Chupacabra Conspiracy since its first show in May 2011. She is also an avid runner and triathlete. Her favorite things include (but are not limited to) triathlon, writing, Microsoft Excel, beer and karaoke. She will take anyone who can get their hands on some Kentucky Bourbon Stout to bone town.

Jessica G.

Jessica G is an astrophysicist, ballerina, tae kwon do expert, and - most importantly and obviously - a liar. She met her fellow chupa chups studying improv at Chicago City Limits and has been lucky enough to perform improv and sketch comedy with this glorious group of misfits all around NYC. She loves character work and pretty much any scenario that allows her to be a Jewish grandma (in life and/or on the stage). In her spare time (aka 97.5% of her time) she's a psychotherapist and tries to bring the improvisational spirit of being in the moment and a little bit of comedy into her work. Like some of her fellow chupas, she's also been bitten by the running bug and is training toward running the 2014 NYC marathon....hopefully without dying.

Michelle McGill

Michelle is a stand-up comedian who performs regularly throughout NYC at various clubs including Broadway Comedy Club, Stand-Up NY, and Comic Strip Live.  She met her fellow Chupacabras after studying improv with Chicago City Limits and Joe DeGise II.  She began performing while in high school as a musician.  Although she loved it, her real joy in life was making people laugh, so she put down her instruments and picked up a microphone.  Originally from the south Michelle brings a strong sense of that southern charm and hospitality to her characters.

Outside of comedy she harbors a great love of food and the fabulous Alton Brown.  While she refuses to believe herself to be a stalker, she takes every opportunity to see Mr. Brown when he’s at events in the NYC area.  Sometimes, she even purchases tickets to said events. She enjoys cupcakes, cookies, and all things sugar.  Because of this she also exercises although not with the same delight as her more athletic sketch mates.  Keep an eye out for her upcoming blog about her hatred of running and the quest to run in the 2014 NYC Marathon anyway.

Helen Nayfeld

Helen's first comedy break came at a tender age of 14, when she was voted "Most Funniest" in her 8th grade class. More recently, in 2009, Helen started taking improv classes and putting on class performances at Chicago City Limits, which she still continues to do. In 2011 Helen joined her fellow improvisers to form a sketch comedy group Chupacabra Conspiracy, in which she is a performer and a writer. Some other things Helen enjoys doing is hiking, reading fantasy and science fiction, and finding new places to eat.

Sue O'Doherty

Sue O'Doherty is an improviser, actor and singer who has studied at Chicago City Limits, Magnet, and HB. She promises to keep studying until she gets it right. She is a world class screamer whose dance moves have been known to clear entire clubs. She is also a clinical psychologist who specializes in helping clients unblock their own creativity.

Alumni

Adrian Davidson

With a major in philosophy and zero skills, Adrian decided to try his hand at comedy. In 2008 he began improv classes at Chicago City Limits where he would first meet the cast members of The Chupacabra Conspiracy. Soon after he took sketch writing at the UCB and stand-up comedy at Caroline's Comedy Club. In 2010 he founded the BigUglyComedy channel on YouTube where he would write, direct, and perform in low-budget, absurdist sketch comedy.

For a year and a half he was a lead writer and a performer for the Chupacabra Conspiracy. Some of Adrian's signature characters include Sugar Cookie, an adorable, cross-eyed, brain-farting inmate, Nikolai Brashnikov, a right-wing,pro-Putin conspiracy theorist, and Stone Fletcher, a Brooklyn blue-collar blowhard businessman. Some things he's good at include eating pizza, drinking so as to tolerate others, and yelling at the TV. Oh and my first love of comedy came from reading Asterix and Obelix, Garfield, The Far Side, Non-Sequitur, Dilbert, Mad Magazine, Marmaduke, Beano, and more...
